Trollinger-Marsh Resources & WhiteStar Corporation Form

Strategic Marketing Alliance

Today Date -- 8/98

DENVER -- WhiteStar Corporation, a key provider of digital cartographic data to the oil and gas industry, has announced a formal resale agreement with Trollinger-Marsh Resources, Inc. (TMR), an internationally-known company specializing in photogeologic-geomorphic mapping using aerial photography and satellite imagery for petroleum and minerals exploration

The strategic alliance allows WhiteStar customers to acquire, at the point of sale, any digital data from the TMR / TGA Data Bank, a comprehensive library of copyrighted, nonexclusive photogeologic and geomorphic data. Likewise, TMR customers can purchase WhiteStar's detailed, state-of-the-art digital cartographic products directly through Trollinger-Marsh Resources.

TGA, founded in 1962 by former owner Bill Trollinger, is the predecessor company of TMR, now headed by Trollinger. The company's geologic data bank encompasses over 800,000 square miles within the United States, and over 700,-000 square miles outside the U.S. Both digital and hardcopy data are available, with digital data deliverable in numerous formats to suit the customer's specific needs.

WhiteStar Corporation, headed by President and founder Robert White, offers a comprehensive suite of digital mapping products to the petroleum and GIS industries, including the CartoBase® Gulf of Mexico and CartoBase® Statewide Culture digital databases, and the CartoBase® National Well File.

WhiteStar and TMR products represent the perfect marriage for the oil and gas industry professional. TGA maps are proven "lead" tools for the explorationist. When overlaid and integrated with WhiteStar's land, well, and cartographic data, the user is rewarded with a wealth of detailed, remarkably accurate information that is not readily available in this price range, which can be of particular importance in the non-typical survey states of Texas and Louisiana.
